About this Course
General English will provide students with an opportunity to develop listening and speaking skills, enhance
structural accuracy, and foster an expansion of everyday English communication skills. The beginning level of
this program will help students to listen for details in conversations, organize oral information, distinguish
between fact and opinion, take notes on a variety of sources, respond to both personal questions and
questions about overheard discussions, use the simple present and simple past tense accurately, and work
with various parts of speech in context.
